Production/Quality Assurance Management Assistant

We are the leader in the design and manufacture of industrial Snowmelters as well as other combustion related equipment. We are looking for suitable person to help smooth out the flow of information between management and the production floor. This job position will be located at out plant in Hubley, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will assist the Production Manager in maintaining product quality while optimizing manufacturing performance. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

· Supporting the Production Team Leaders through scheduling, problem solving and documentation maintenance.

· Quality Assurance tasks including inspection, ISO documentation maintenance and internal audits to maintain the company’s ISO registration status.

· Dealing with documentation and problems with all subcontractors.

· Assisting with Human Resources issues and policies.

· Writing effective work/inspection plans.

Experience/Qualification Requirements:

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Some form of relevant post secondary education or experience required.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel…) and possibly AutoCAD.

· Strong aptitude/ability to read and understand fabrication and production drawings.

· Ability to pay attention to detail.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Ability and desire to learn new things.
